Tips for choosing the right mobile safety steps

Our mobile safety steps are used in a variety of settings, including warehouses, factories, retail stores and construction sites. Therefore, they are ideal for tasks such as reaching high shelves, loading and unloading trucks, performing maintenance and repairs. Crucially, when choosing heavy duty mobile safety steps, it is important to consider the following factors:

  • Weight capacity: Make sure to choose a step ladder with a weight capacity that is greater than the weight of the heaviest loads that you will be carrying.
  • Number of treads: The number of treads on a step ladder will determine how high it can reach. Therefore, choose a step ladder with the appropriate number of treads for the tasks that you will be using it for.
  • Safety features: Make sure to choose a step ladder with all of the necessary safety features, such as wide treads, handrails, and anti-slip surfaces.

If you can’t find the heavy duty mobile safety steps you are looking for or require a medium duty step, we have a comprehensive range of mobile safety steps. Remember, we do bespoke to order with quick turnaround times too.
